Whoa. Here's a hot one. Apparently, some school district officials in Philadelphia took an overseas trip compliments of a company, and then turned around and gave that company a "no-bid" contract worth nearly a million dollars. See http://www.philly.com/mld/inquirer/living/education/14820301.htm Makes you wonder whether this sort of thing is going on in Nebraska school districts. Or how much.
