ARIZONA HAS A BIGTIME PROGRAM Footnote to Wednesday's GoBigEd story pleading for tax credits to expand private K-12 scholarships for needy children in Nebraska: Come to find out, more than 22,000 children have been assisted by a similar tax credit in Arizona since it was put in place in 1997. Donors to the Children's Scholarship Fund of Omaha are supporting1,860 children in K-8 classrooms across the state this year. To contact the group: (402) 554-8493, or csfomaha@archomaha.org
